A certified transformational coach, public speaker, and cultural ambassador. She leads programs that celebrate African culture through dance, language, storytelling, and intergenerational learning. Her work creates inclusive spaces where people feel seen, valued, and connected through culture. Irene’s leadership is rooted in her belief that culture is a powerful tool for belonging, confidence, and social cohesion. Her vision continues to guide the Society toward meaningful partnerships, impactful programs, and a thriving multicultural community.

Abbey Nsubuga Kizito is a husband and father of three children living in the Lower Mainland, a numbers person with a heart for community prosperity, specializing in accounting and taxes. I am passionate about community engagement and am an active member of several community organizations. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, swimming, skating, biking, and playing soccer.
