At FV Community Integration Services, Black History Month is a special time to celebrate the rich heritage, achievements, and contributions of Black communities in the Fraser Valley and beyond. This month-long observance is an opportunity to reflect on history, recognize trailblazers, and promote cultural understanding and pride.

We host a variety of events and activities throughout Black History Month designed to educate, engage, and inspire people of all ages, including:

• Cultural Performances: Experience vibrant music, dance, and storytelling that showcase Black culture and traditions.  
• Workshops and Panels: Join discussions and interactive sessions focused on history, identity, and social justice.  
• Community Gatherings: Connect with others through games, art, and shared experiences that build unity and pride.  
• Youth Programs: Empower the next generation with mentorship, creative projects, and leadership opportunities.
